Building Stronger Communities Through Play and Sports
More Than Play is a community and school development initiative designed at bringing together children, youth and mothers from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds through play and sports. The program fosters collaboration, encourages the building of lasting relationships, and ultimately empowers participants to co-create solutions to their challenges.

In four marginalized communities in Delhi, where access to essential resources, education, and opportunities is limited, sports have become a powerful tool for human capital development and poverty alleviation. Since October 2023, More Than Play’s unique sport-for-development program has been leveraging sports and play to promote long-term engagement with children, youth, and mothers, thereby building physical health, life skills, community bonds, and pathways for socioeconomic empowerment.

More Than Play is an initiative of the Khelo Tennis India Foundation, a registered Section 8 company dedicated to promoting education, gender equality, health awareness, and life skills development among marginalized communities. These focus areas align with key eligible Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. We are CSR compliant and collaborate with corporate partners and family trusts under their respective CSR mandates.
